Project Utgardr is an open-world, parkour, platform, first-person and puzzle adventure, inspired by Norse and Viking mythology. Motivated by Shadow of the Colossus's profoundness and by the Mirror's Edge and Downward's nimble gameplay. In the Scandinavia of the II century A. D. , Thyra finds herself trapped in the astonishing mountains of her land. A mysterious vertical crack has queerly appeared on a facade of a mount, and Thyra explores an hidden hollow to pass through it to new sprawling landscapes. Thyra remains cornered after a rockfall and sets off in search of a way home. Thyra rapidly gets in touch with the mysterious environments of this beautiful land, until she discovers ancient Norse altars that lie untouched for years. Time-worn runes are engraved over them, linked to the Norse gods and Viking culture. At the epicenter of the natural events caused, an entity guides her through the path. Influenced by the entity and unexpectedly blooming, Thyra surprisingly discovers magical flowers that grow in hidden ravines and seem to be her only hope.
